Do you offer free returns?

We offer FREE returns (prepaid postage) on UK orders for items returned or exchanged within 30 days.

To return or exchange an item, simply log in to our online returns portal to print a delivery label, and drop off the package at your nearest DPD collection point.

For international returns outside of the UK, return shipping and any reverse duties are the responsibility of the customer.

For online purchases, returns can be processed at any of our stores in the UK. However, please note that exchanges for online purchases are not available in-store at this time.

What is your return policy?

We accept the return of items ordered within 30 days of the date the order was shipped.

Products must be returned unworn, unwashed, in their original condition and with all tags attached.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of wear or do not meet the above criteria.

How do I return or exchange an item?

To return or exchange an item, please visit our online returns portal.

You'll need the postcode of the address the package was delivered to, and also your order number. Your order number can be found in your order confirmation and shipping confirmation emails (eg #44959SC), or on your packing slip, or by logging into your Varley account.

Question 7

How will I know if you have refunded me?

Accepted Answer

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you if your return is accepted or declined. This process can take 1-5 business days.

If your return is accepted, your refund will be processed and applied to the original method of payment. Note that it can take 3-5 business days for the credit to reflect in your bank account due to varying processing times between financial organisations.

I’ve received an item as a gift, can I return or exchange it?

Please note, items can only be returned directly to Varley if they were purchased from uk.varley.com. Garments purchased through any other retailer must be returned to them.

To create a gift return or exchange, please visit our gift returns portal and follow the steps within the portal. You'll need the original order number and the postcode of the address the package was delivered to.

Once your return or exchange has been started, you will receive a pre-paid return shipping label via email (domestic returns only) and you may drop your package at your nearest carrier location.

Holiday delivery and returns?

For purchases made between 4th November and 24th December 2025, returns or exchanges will be accepted until 31st January 2026.

Shipping cut off dates for delivery before 25th of December:

UK Next working day Delivery: Order by 23rd December before 12pm (GMT)

UK Standard Delivery: Order by 17th December

International: Order by 10th December
